The Model TD-3 softgel capsule tumble drying machine is a universal soft capsule tumbler dryer produced by Beijing Summit Pharmatech Co., Ltd., which is suitable for matching with large softgel encapsulation machines.
TD-3 Softgel Drying Machine Parameters:

Number of sections per set: 1 baskets per section
Each tumbler is equipped with an electrostatic discharge device.
It has a safety protection function. When the protective cover window is opened, the tumbler stops rotating, and it resumes operation after the window is closed.
The last section has a discharge alarm lamp. 12 seconds before last the tumbler basket discharges, the alarm lamp flashes to prompt the operator to collect the softgel capsules.
Material of the protective cover: stainless steel or Poly Carbonate
The tumbler of the TD-3 softgel capsule drying machine has both ends plates made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMPE) with a molecular weight of not less than 5 million. It is light, has minimal friction coefficient, does not produce powder during friction, and meets the hygiene requirements of food and pharmaceuticals.
The basket mesh is made of 304 or 316L stainless steel wire mesh, welded wire by wire, then rounded and electrochemically polished as a whole to remove microscopic burrs invisible to the naked eye on the surface of the wire mesh, preventing the surface of soft capsules from turning black during the drying process.
In addition, the guiding blocks in the drying tumbler are made of food-grade PP through injection molding. The shape and surface of the guiding blocks are specially optimized so that the soft capsules can be quickly and effectively pushed to the end of the tumbler during discharge. When the tumbler is drying, the softgel capsules are lifted and dropped down, maximizing contact with the drying air. When falling, they are evenly distributed along the axis of the tumbler and do not gather at the head end of the tumbler. Many in the industry use continuous guiding bars, which cause the softgel capsules to gather at the head of the tumbler during drying, reducing the drying effect and increasing wear on the tumbler end plate.
The discharge port is designed with inclined angles and rounded transitions and are injection molded with special molds to ensure smooth capsule discharge without sticking.
